Custom Designed School Trips

Has your school thought about taking a group of students abroad?  Trust SAGE to ensure that your students have an amazing educational adventure while staying safe the whole time.  Our vast network of in-country contacts and resources are put to work on your school group’s behalf.

"We were very pleased with SAGE and would love to run another trip to India with you next year!"
-Margi Missling-Root, Director of Experiential Education, Lowell Whiteman School, CO

SAGE is a PREMIER leader in educational travel for student groups.  For almost 20 years, we have been successfully taking student groups abroad.  SAGE travels to INDIA, CAMBODIA, MOROCCO, SOUTH AFRICA, COSTA RICA, GUATEMALA, PANAMA, ECUADOR, PERU, ARGENTINA, CHILE, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, LAKOTA NATION (SOUTH DAKOTA) AND nAVAJO NATION (ARIZONA/NEW MEXICO). Our expertise, along with our established network of in-country contacts gives you more resources to customize a trip according to your school’s particular interests.  Whether a ten day Spring Break trip or a three week summer trip for your students, SAGE can help you.

With our guidance and your direction, together we determine an itinerary which meets your needs.  Our commitment to excellence includes providing students with a global perspective along with a transformative experience abroad; we are not a “run of the mill” travel agency.    We provide an active learning environment with many opportunities for student growth and love the creative challenge of custom designed trip themes.

Whether volunteering in community service projects in rural areas by helping underprivileged youth or following in the footsteps of Gandhi, our trips are customized for your school.  A few recent trips have included a visit to Dharamsala, India, home of the exiled Tibetan leader the Dalai Lama, where students had the opportunity to meet with His Holiness, and a pilgrimage to Gangotri, the source of the sacred Ganges River.  Other thematic areas to consider are: studying human rights in Cambodia, trekking in the Sahara Desert, visiting a wildlife refugee, exploring fair trade issues in the Dominican Republic, doing community service, sea kayaking in Central America, studying indigenous art and music.  The educational opportunities are virtually endless…
